Why Doctors Hospital? It all came down to fit for me. I knew the education was top-notch, but there’s a distinct close-knit culture here between residents and attendings that’s conducive to learning.

Why Doctors Hospital? During my auditions/interviews, Doctors Hospital was the place that I felt was the best fit for me. I was impressed by the residents and attendings in the program. As well as being able to move back to Columbus was a bonus for me.
Fun Fact: I played varsity ice hockey in high school and continued to play in rec leagues in college.

Why Doctors Hospital? I met Doctor’s residents at EM conferences when I was a second-year medical student. They held various leadership positions and were the most well represented residency. The great support for leadership outside of the residency, the amazing and confident residents as well as the EMS and Wilderness Medicine track was everything I wanted.

Why Doctors Hospital? First and foremost, the people. I knew from the minute I interviewed here how down to earth and personable all the faculty and senior residents are! They really accept you as one of their own and want to make every person they teach a confident and knowledgeable physician. Columbus is super convenient with an awesome variety of recreation, sports, restaurants available as well as an INT airport. As part of OhioHealth, you get the best of a high-volume community hospital and rotations at two large tertiary centers each within 15 min of Doctors with excellent education.
